Kaalakaandi New Trailer Out: Saif Ali Khan Takes You Through One Crazy Monsoon Night

Just yesterday the makers of Kaalakaandi revealed a new poster of the film and it was a shocker! Wearing a yellow fur coat, with his hair done up in ponytails and a bruised face, the thriller’s star Saif Ali Khan surely grabbed eyeballs. It had us wondering, what is Saif’s character in the film really up to? And now the makers have released a new trailer of Kaalakaandi and we have the answers. Check it out:

The trailer is a wild ride which starts with Saif at the doctor's clicking finding out that he is diagnosed with cancer. Then he is seen approaching a woman in the wickedest way. Then the excitement is ramped up with Saif’s character taking part in a crazy party at a nightclub, a car chase and plenty of gun shots are fired.

In between, we also get the glimpse of the other actors who are part of the film including Akshay Oberoi, Amyra Dastur, Shenaz Treasurywala and Neil Bhoopalam.

From the looks of the trailer, the film is going to be a roller coaster ride with Saif’s character taking us into dark places. The film seems to be a raucous tale about life, death and karma that barrels through one monsoon night in Mumbai. Simultaneously, it talks about the journey of six characters from different walks of life.

The teaser of the film also took social media by storm when it was released a few months back.

Kaalakaandi is directed by Akshat Verma was slated to release on September 8. However, censor issues forced the makers to come up with a new release date, and now it will hit theatres on January 12 next year. It will face tough competition at the box-office from Anurag Kashyap's Mukkabaaz and Vikram Bhatt's Zareen Khan starrer 1921.
